The sector is represented by GICA – Groupement des Industries de Conserves Alimentaires, the Tunisian organization supporting the development, quality, traceability and international promotion of the country's canned food industries.

GICA also manages the Tunisian Food Quality Label for canned harissa and supports the development and promotion of Tunisia's fish, tomato and vegetable-processing sectors.
