FINE FOOD NEW ZEALAND 2027

Auckland Showgrounds, Auckland, New Zealand

June 20–22, 2027

Fine Food New Zealand is the country’s leading professional trade event for food service, hospitality and food retail.

The exhibition connects food and beverage suppliers with distributors, retailers, supermarket buyers, restaurant and café operators, caterers, hotel professionals and other qualified industry visitors.

Product areas include packaged and processed food, beverages, bakery, ingredients, speciality products, professional kitchens, refrigeration, hospitality equipment, retail solutions and food-service technology.

For canned-food manufacturers, Fine Food New Zealand offers opportunities to meet importers, food-service distributors, retail buyers and operators seeking shelf-stable, private-label and internationally sourced products.

Attendance is reserved for trade professionals, making it more relevant to the commercial purpose of CannedFood.it than general consumer food shows.

NZ FOOD EXPOS

Auckland and Christchurch, New Zealand

Christchurch Food Expo: September 19–20, 2026

Auckland Food Expo: March 20–21, 2027

NZ Food Expos are public food and drink exhibitions held in Auckland and Christchurch. They showcase products from New Zealand and international food and beverage companies.

Exhibition categories include artisan products, bakery, beverages, chilled and dairy food, delicatessen products, fruit and vegetables, frozen food, international food, pantry products, sauces, condiments, snacks and free-from products.

These events are not restricted to professional trade visitors. Their main value for food manufacturers is direct product promotion, consumer feedback, brand visibility, sampling and contact with local retailers and distributors attending the exhibitions.

For canned-food companies, the most relevant areas include pantry food, sauces and condiments, international products, preserved vegetables, shelf-stable foods and speciality grocery products.

Event selection

Fine Food New Zealand remains the principal B2B event on this page, because attendance is directed to foodservice, hospitality and retail professionals.

NZ Food Expos are included as complementary public-facing food exhibitions. They are useful for product presentation, sampling and market visibility, but they should not be considered equivalent to a trade-only sourcing fair.

Foodtech Packtech remains excluded because its main focus is food manufacturing, processing and packaging technology rather than the commercial presentation of finished food products.
